All Planes Off - All
Overview
All Planes Off All hides all work planes for every top-level component in the active assembly. Nested components inside subassemblies are not processed.
Use this when plane visibility has become cluttered across the main assembly and you want a one-click reset back to a clean view.
How It Works
- Iterates through all top-level component occurrences in the active assembly.
- For each component document:
- Sets ShowPlanes to False (if present).
- Iterates all work planes and sets them hidden.
- Updates the document.
- Component rules may override visibility for specific planes.
Usage Instructions
- Open the target assembly or component.
- Click the All Planes Off All button in the Configure panel.
- All work planes in all top-level components will be hidden.
Troubleshooting
- Nested components still show planes: This command only affects top-level components. Use All Planes Off All Nested to process the full hierarchy.
- Some planes remain visible: Check for component rules or representations that override visibility.
